Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Unveiled With 5.7-inch Curved Screen, IP68 Rating and Advanced S Pen

The all new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is officially unveiled in Samsung Unpacked 2016 event in New York. After so many rumours and leaks, the design looks similar.

The Galaxy Note 7 will help Samsung to go more deeper into the market and build and even more strong basement. The device has a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Display with curved screen like an edge phone. It is QHD resolution and is among the first device to feature HDR support borrowed from 4K TVs. Once again well done Samsung. The Display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and is IP68 certified which is 5 ft of water upto 40 minutes.  

The device is powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset or an Exynos 8890, packs 64GB of internal storage with 4GB of RAM and expandable memory. The Galaxy Note 7 features 12MP dual-pixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, OIS and recording upto 2160p video. On the front is a 5MP selfie camera. On the same space is Samsung has added a new technology to the Smartphone - Iris Scanner apart from fingerprint sensor at the bottom of the device. The device juices it self from the 3,500mAh battery. 

Samsung has finally decided to shift to USB Type-C and the port supports OTG as well as Quick Charging. It runs polished Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The S Pen has evolved a bit with experience like ballpoint pen. It can also be used to write under water, some other new features include text magnifying glass, a translate tool and also a GIF creator. 

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will go on pre-order from August 3rd. Sales officially start on August 19th in US.
