Lenovo Officially Announced Phab 2 Pro, Project Tango Smartphone

Lenovo has announced world's first Project Tango Smartphone called Phab Pro 2 in Lenovo Tech World 2016. 


So What is Project Tango? 
In brief, it is a project started by Google in 2015 that enables augmented reality (AR) gaming and utilities. All you have to do is look through the device, in this case Phab 2 Pro and the cool thing is you will see objects and information's overlaid onto the real world like Measure Objects with just your phone or visualize your furniture etc.

What is Specs? 

The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro has a metal unibody and in will be available in Gold and Silver color. The Phab 2 Pro sports a 6.4-inch QHD IPS Display. It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 652 chipset, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage too. It features 16MP rear camera as well as depth camera and a motion tracking camera and 8MP front camera. 


It packs a huge 4,050mAh battery. Other things include a 5.1 surround Dolby Atmos technology. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. 

The device uses the motion tracking and the depth sensing cameras to learn areas like places. The device can track object, map physical spaces and can also project virtual effects like your Virtual Pet. 

Okay, So when will can you get one? 
The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro will be available online in August and in stores in September. You'll find it globally and in the US it will be sold by Best Buy. It will cost $499 unlocked.
