Google Pixel "Made By Google" Officially Announced with Other Interesting Techs

The long rumoured Google Pixel "Made By Google" smartphone a announced today. The smartphone has a new look to it compared to the Nexus 6P. Google had lot's of surprise.

So, there is no Nexus branding on the phone, it is Just "G" representing Google, by HTC built the phones. It has glass like finish up top where the camera and fingerprint sensor rest. On the right hand side, Power Button as well as Volume Speaker are placed.

The only difference in Google Pixel and Pixel XL is display in terms of specs and battery size. The Google Pixel sports a 5-inch Display and Google Pixel XL sports bigger 5.5-inch Display. Both devices have AMOLED screens with 1080p resolution for Google Pixel (441 ppi) and QHD  for Pixel XL (534 ppi). Pixel has 2770mAh and Pixel XL has 3450mAh battery capacity both with quick charging support, Google says 7 hours of battery life with 15 minutes of charge. 

Besides that, both Pixel are more similar/ They are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB of RAM. According to GSMArena.com "The Google Pixel and Pixel XL have the same storage option - 32GB (for those that use Google Photos and Play Music) and 128GB (for those that prefer their data offline). By the way both Pixel phones get unlimited Google Photos storage for photos at full resolution".

On camera department, they feature 12MP rear camera, 1.55 micron pixels, f/2.0 aperture. It has Electronic Image Stabilization. Both Pixel phones run stock Android 7.1 Nougat.

Both the smartphones are priced accordingly, they start at $649 and in India pre-sale from October 13, 2016. If you live in US, you can pre-order starting today from Google Store.

Along with the smartphones Google announced - Google Home to connect with your home, Google WI-FI, Google Chromecast Ultra with 4K support. Google Assistant and Google DayDream View virtual reality headset with remote.
